SPRING IN YELLOWSTONE

The park usually (weather permitting) opens for non-motorized traffic in Mid-March. From this date to the opening of the roads to vehicles in Mid April is the ideal time to hike or bike Yellowstone National Park and to enjoy the serenity of the parks new dawning without the traffic. Many people take advantage of the unique spring weather in this part of the world to cross country ski in the morning and cycle into the park in the afternoon.
