CYCLE GREATER YELLOWSTONE TOUR

All the great cycling vacations really come down to one basic thing: the route. If the scenery doesn't make your jaw drop a dozen times a day, it's just a nice ride. The route the Greater Yellowstone Coalition has put together for 2013 is a nonstop highlight reel - the best of bicycling in Montana, with a little Wyoming thrown in. Limited to just 1,000 riders, it's going to be a week of oohs and aahs and it's called Cycle Greater Yellowstone because it's not just about the park. The entire Yellowstone ecosystem is 20 million acres - 10 times more than the park covers. And, honestly, the best riding is outside the park. The goal is to show the best of the entire ecosystem. Everyone will gather in West Yellowstone on August 17th (if not before for a little altitude adjustment) and pedal off the next morning to begin the tour.
